Set during Japan’s Sengoku era, the player assumes control of a daimyo competing to unify the fractured nation through strategic expansion, diplomacy, and warfare. Territory management is at the heart of the experience, where each fief must be governed carefully to balance resources, loyalty, and military strength.
The gameplay unfolds through seasonal turns, where players issue commands across their domains. You can collect taxes, develop land, recruit and train troops, form alliances, and engage in large-scale invasions. Battles shift into a tactical view where unit placement, terrain, and supply lines determine victory or defeat.
Success depends on long-term planning rather than quick reactions, as economic stability and political relationships are just as important as battlefield strength.
