Overview and Gameplay

A huge inheritance is waiting, but Wall Street Kid makes the player prove they can handle money, pressure, romance, and deadlines first.

This NES business and life simulation starts the player with $500,000 and a family fortune to claim. The main loop is menu-driven: read the newspaper, consult advisors, buy and sell stocks, manage loans, exercise, go on dates, and meet financial goals. Making money alone is not enough, because poor health or a neglected relationship can also end the run.

Controls And Mechanics

  • The desktop interface uses a cursor to choose icons, menus, stocks, and daily actions.
  • The portfolio can hold up to five stocks at once.
  • News reports can affect market choices, health, and relationship planning.
  • Loans help pay for major purchases, but repayment timing affects credit.
  • Actions consume time, so each day is a balance of trading, fitness, dates, and deadlines.
  • Passwords appear weekly for continuing progress.
  • This is a solo simulation with no two-player mode.
