Overview and Gameplay
Aerobiz Supersonic centers on running a global airline company, expanding routes across international cities while balancing profits, passenger demand, and competition. Players manage aircraft fleets, schedule flights, and respond to changing economic conditions and world events. The experience is structured around long-term strategy, where growth depends on efficient planning and adaptation across multiple historical scenarios.
Controls And Mechanics
Gameplay focuses on menu navigation and turn-based decision making. Players move through management screens to set routes, purchase aircraft, and review financial reports. Progress is driven by planning phases rather than action timing. Multiplayer uses alternating turns, allowing several players to run competing airlines within the same campaign.
Version Notes
Released in Japan under the title Air Management II: Aim for the King of Aviation, the Genesis version arrived in North America in 1995. It follows the earlier Super Nintendo release and shares the same core design while presenting a late-era Sega Genesis adaptation of Koei’s airline strategy series.
