Overview and Gameplay
Airline expansion moves into the jet age, global tourism, and future supersonic travel. Aerobiz Supersonic is Koei’s SNES business simulation sequel, with the player running an airline against rival companies across long historical scenarios.
The core loop is strategic management: negotiate airport slots, buy aircraft, open routes, set fares and flight frequency, build hubs, fund service and repairs, run advertising, invest in regional businesses, and react to strikes, wars, tourist booms, fuel costs, and other events.
Controls And Mechanics
- Gameplay is controlled through maps, reports, menus, and a cursor-based command system.
- Routes depend on available slots, aircraft range, passenger demand, and operating costs.
- Winning requires regional passenger leadership, hubs across the world, and steady profitability before the scenario ends.
- Multiplayer is hot-seat competition, with players taking turns as rival airline companies.
