Overview and Gameplay
A prince and princess transformed into stone paddles fight Gamma with a blue sphere. Guide the ball through seven vertically and horizontally scrolling stages, breaking blocks, striking enemies, avoiding traps, and reaching each final goal before time expires. A lost sphere or an expired timer restarts the current stage.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions: Move both paddles in solo play. The red offensive paddle travels in eight directions, while the blue defensive paddle slides along the bottom.
- A and C: Change among basic, L, and reverse L formations.
- B: Switch paddle speed among Mach 1, Mach 2, and Mach 3.
- Power-ups include Buster Ball, Long, Flashing Bomb, Time Stop, and Roulette.
- Two players cooperate simultaneously, each controlling one paddle. Offensive and defensive roles can be exchanged before a stage.
Version Notes
The North American release uses the title Devilish: The Next Possession instead of the Japanese title Bad Omen.
