Overview and Gameplay
Dick Tracy takes on Big Boy Caprice’s criminal organization in a film-inspired action game built specifically for the Sega Genesis. Tracy battles through six stages, each containing two action scenes, a boss fight, and a target-practice bonus round.
The defining mechanic divides combat between two planes. Tracy uses his pistol against nearby enemies while firing a machine gun at gangsters across the street or in the background. Stages alternate between armed platforming, unarmed fistfights, and police-car chase sequences. Completing scenes quickly, defeating enemies with punches, and avoiding property damage can increase the score.
