Overview and Gameplay
A pair of enhanced jetpack soldiers descend into a world overwhelmed by alien forces, guided through missions built around aerial movement and a rotating satellite weapon system. The Genesis version of Forgotten Worlds brings Capcom’s arcade design into a home format, focusing on precision shooting, currency collection, and stage-based progression through hostile zones.
Players move freely across scrolling environments while managing directional fire and gathering resources dropped by enemies. Between stages, earned currency is used to improve offensive strength and survivability, shaping each run as difficulty steadily increases.
