Overview and Gameplay
A swarm of lemmings spreads across tribal worlds, each group carrying its own set of abilities that reshape how levels must be solved. The goal is to guide enough of them to the exit by assigning skills in real time, turning chaotic movement into structured solutions across many themed stages.
Each tribe introduces new behaviors and tools, expanding the puzzle system far beyond earlier entries in the series. Progression is based on completing sets of levels tied to different tribes, each demanding adaptation to unfamiliar mechanics.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players assign actions to individual lemmings while they continue moving automatically
- Skill management is central, requiring quick decisions to alter paths, survive hazards, or create safe routes
- Stages are solved by meeting required survival thresholds
Version Notes
This Genesis version adapts the original computer release for console play, maintaining the tribal structure and stage progression while adjusting the interface for gamepad input.
