Overview and Gameplay
Corporate syndicates have replaced governments, and your task is to conquer a 50-territory world with squads of cybernetically enhanced agents. Each real-time isometric mission may involve assassination, retrieval, capture, persuasion, or eliminating rival forces.
Before deployment, equip up to four agents with weapons and permanent body modifications. Successful missions generate tax income for research and expansion, while excessive taxation can trigger rebellion. Fallen agents and their upgrades are permanently lost.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move the active agent directly and fire at automatically selected targets.
- Cycle agents and weapons, adjust adrenaline, perception, and intelligence, or activate group commands.
- Agents can enter vehicles, collect equipment, use medikits, and persuade civilians or mission targets.
- Two players can cooperate during missions, each controlling an agent.
Version Notes
The Genesis conversion uses redesigned levels, direct gamepad movement, automatic targeting, local cooperative play, and password-based progress. It also replaces the computer version’s flamethrower with the Chiller weapon.
