Overview and Gameplay
Two-on-two NBA basketball becomes a fast arcade contest of turbo runs, huge dunks, blocks, steals, and physical defense. This SNES version brings Midway’s arcade hit to home play with four three-minute quarters, real NBA teams of the era, visible records, initials, passwords, and the famous on-fire scoring streak system.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players move, pass, steal, shoot, block, shove, and use turbo for faster movement and stronger plays.
- Three straight baskets by one player can make him on fire, giving unlimited turbo and boosted shooting until the other team scores.
- Near the hoop, turbo plus shoot can turn a normal attempt into a high-flying dunk.
- The SNES version supports competitive multiplayer, including full two-on-two play with a Super Multitap.
