Overview and Gameplay
European Tour golf comes to SNES with licensed courses, pro players, weather, lies, greens, and a three-click swing system. PGA European Tour focuses on European courses such as Valderrama, Wentworth, Forest of Arden, Crans-sur-Sierre, and Le Golf National.
Players can enter Practice Round, Tournament, Skins Challenge, Match Play, Shoot-Out, Driving Range, and Putting Green modes. Rounds are built around club choice, shot aim, draw or fade, wind, lie, green reading, and timing the swing meter accurately.
Controls And Mechanics
- Swing system: time the meter for backswing, power, and contact.
- Shot planning: aim, change clubs, adjust putting distance, and use draw or fade for shaped shots.
- Course tools: ball-lie display, overhead views, green grid, stats, replays, and battery-backed saving support play.
- Multiplayer: up to four players can compete through golf-style alternating turns.
