Overview and Gameplay
Alien pirate Scab steals the World Cup, crashes into an asteroid, and scatters the trophy pieces around Earth. Soccer Kid sends its football-mad hero through five countries, using the ball as both weapon and tool across side-scrolling platform stages.
Controls And Mechanics
- Soccer Kid can run, jump, duck, slide, kick the ball in different directions, juggle it, and use headers or overhead kicks.
- Each country has three scenes, with Soccer Cards to collect before reaching the bonus game for a World Cup piece.
- The game tracks energy, time, lives, score, restart posts, cards, and passwords for continuing progress.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release of Soccer Kid, published by Ocean. The North American SNES version is titled The Adventures of Kid Kleets.
