Overview and Gameplay
A servant of The Master descends into the Freil Empire to undo Deathtoll’s bargain, restoring towns, creatures, plants, and paths by defeating monsters. Soul Blazer is a top-down action RPG where each cleared Monster Lair can bring part of the world back to life.
Combat happens in real time with sword attacks, magic, equipment, experience levels, and backtracking for newly opened routes. Restored souls often provide clues, items, or access to the next objective.
