Overview and Gameplay
Mickey follows Pluto’s trail into a magical kingdom ruled by Emperor Pete, turning a simple game of catch into a side-scrolling Capcom platform adventure. Stages move through forests, caves, mountains, snowfields, and Pete’s castle, with boss fights and treasure along the way.
Mickey jumps on enemies, grabs and spins blocks or stunned foes, collects coins and hearts, and gains costumes that change how each area is solved.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions move and duck, B jumps, Y grabs objects or uses the current costume power, and Start pauses.
- A changes into the selected costume, while L and R cycle through costume boxes.
- The Wizard outfit fires charged magic, the Firefighter sprays water, and the Mountaineer uses a rope for climbing and swinging.
- Two-player mode is alternating, with players taking turns controlling Mickey rather than playing simultaneously.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. The Japanese Super Famicom title is Mickey no Magical Adventure, and the later Game Boy Advance remake with Minnie is a separate version.
