Overview and Gameplay
Captain Darien Lambert travels from 2193 to stop Dr. Sahmbi, Sepp Dietrich, and other fugitives from changing history. Based on the television series, Time Trax is a one-player SNES action platformer with eight levels, side-scrolling combat, PPT shooting, Time Stall powers, vehicle sequences, hidden routes, hazards, and boss confrontations.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: walk, crouch, block, climb ladders, move across pipes, and jump through platform stages.
- Combat: Lambert uses martial arts attacks and the PPT stun weapon, with Time Stall slowing the action temporarily.
- Items: food, hearts, shields, gold tokens, PPT power-ups, Mega Crush, and EXTRA letters support survival and scoring.
- Mode: the game is single-player only, with no versus or co-op mode.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. It is separate from the cancelled Genesis/Mega Drive version and the unrelated 1986 computer game of the same name.
