Overview and Gameplay
A time-machine tournament gathers fighters from different eras to decide who is strongest. World Heroes is a one-on-one fighting game where players choose from eight combatants, win two rounds, manage life and time, build score, and advance toward a final challenger.
Controls And Mechanics
- Fighters use movement, jumping, ducking, weak and strong punches, weak and strong kicks, throws, and character-specific special moves.
- Normal matches focus on standard life-gauge fighting and round wins.
- Fatal Match arenas add hazards such as energy barriers, mines, flames, spikes, and slick floors.
- Two players can fight each other in simultaneous versus play.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release, converted by SunSoft from the earlier Neo Geo arcade game. It is separate from later sequels and modern re-releases.
