Overview and Gameplay
Emperor Pete captures Pluto after he follows a ball into a magical world. Mickey or Minnie travels through six themed levels, including forests, fire caves, snowy terrain, and Pete’s castle, to rescue him.
Each level contains platforming sections, hidden rooms, shops, sub-stages, and boss battles. Progress unlocks three costumes: the Sorcerer uses magic, the Firefighter sprays water, and the Climber swings from ropes. The main menu also includes four Party Games built around cloud racing, coin collecting, item scoring, and rope climbing.
Controls And Mechanics
Move and crouch with the directional pad, jump with A, and use B to grab or throw objects and activate the current costume ability. L selects a costume and R confirms it. Hearts measure health, lives allow another attempt, and coins buy recovery items and costume-energy upgrades.
Magic and water draw from separate gauges. Deluxe Hearts restore health and can increase the maximum, while dolls grant extra lives. Two-player Party Games use simultaneous competitive Game Link Cable play with one cartridge.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance adaptation adds Minnie as a selectable character, cartridge saving, four Party Games, and GameCube connectivity with Disney’s Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse.
