Overview and Gameplay
Aladdin 3 sends a carpet-riding hero through four horizontally scrolling stages filled with airborne enemies and projectile patterns. Each stage ends with a boss, and later areas increase the density and direction of incoming attacks.
The campaign begins in desert scenery and eventually reaches an outer-space setting. Progress depends on surviving every enemy wave and defeating all four bosses.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the carpet freely around the screen. A fires arrows, and Start pauses the action.
P icons upgrade the bow with faster firing and a three-way spread. S icons temporarily increase movement speed, hearts absorb additional damage, and character-head icons grant extra lives. Losing a life lowers the current weapon level, while a lamp-related treasure can provide temporary invincibility.
Version Notes
This unlicensed 1995 release rebrands the earlier NES shooter Magic Carpet 1001 under the Aladdin III title. The altered version replaces the original title presentation and gives the rider a lower starting movement speed while retaining the four-stage shooter structure.
