Overview and Gameplay
Elf warrior Christine sets out to recover three stolen treasures after an evil Shogun fills the kingdom with monsters and ninja. This top-down NES action game uses compact, single-screen stages built around combat, keys, barriers, false exits, hidden passages, and environmental hazards.
Christine begins with a bow and advances by defeating enemies, revealing keys, and finding the correct exit. Bow and arrow upgrades improve her attack, armor raises maximum health, and bags expand item capacity. The 31 main stage layouts return across four increasingly difficult cycles, with faster and tougher enemies standing between the player and the full ending.
Controls And Mechanics

- B: Open or close the item menu.
- Start: Begin or pause the game.

Special items include wall-piercing fireballs, a screen-clearing thunder attack, healing potions, protection from projectiles, and tools designed for supernatural enemies or ninja. Movement follows a rigid grid, and Christine must step to change direction, making close-range encounters increasingly dangerous.
