Overview and Gameplay
Choose categories, reveal clues, and respond in question form in this NES adaptation of the television quiz show. The match follows the familiar Jeopardy!, Double Jeopardy!, and Final Jeopardy! rounds, with nearly 2,000 clues drawn from more than 400 categories.
Correct responses add the clue value to your score, while mistakes deduct it and allow another contestant to buzz in. Daily Doubles permit a private wager, and players with positive scores can risk their winnings during Final Jeopardy.
Controls And Mechanics
- Use the directional pad to navigate menus, select categories, move across the character grid, and buzz in.
- Use A or B to select letters, numbers, and commands while entering responses.
- Higher-value clues are generally harder, and three skill settings reduce the time available for typing answers.
- One player can face computer contestants, while two or three people can compete locally with simultaneous buzzing.
