Overview and Gameplay

Keroleen has been kidnapped, sending Keroppi across eight castles filled with compact action-puzzle rooms. Each room asks the player to collect required items, manage a limited supply of steps, and reach the exit without becoming trapped.

The puzzles rotate among four main formats: arrow mazes with forced movement, rotating platform routes, briefly shown paths that must be repeated from memory, and two-color tile boards whose layout changes as Keroppi moves. Cleared rooms open further progress, and six-symbol passwords preserve progress between sessions.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Directions: Move Keroppi and navigate menus.
  • A: Jump one space, confirm selections, and begin memory stages after the route preview.
  • B: Use a help cloud, or abandon the current maze when none is held.
  • Start: Start, pause, and resume play.
  • Select: Switch the displayed character on the maze-selection screen.
  • Two players take alternating turns rather than playing simultaneously.

Version Notes
