Overview and Gameplay
Jay McCray enters a ruined space colony after terrorists destroy his father’s research project. This single-player NES run-and-gun game sends him through five stages of mechanical enemies, traps, minibosses, and large machines. Jay advances from the deserted colony into underground facilities, a terrorist base, a spacecraft, and a factory, collecting new weapons while conserving shared gun energy.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: Move left or right, lie down, and jump across pits and machinery.
- Combat: Fire the equipped weapon and open the weapon screen to switch equipment.
- Arsenal: The unlimited handgun is joined by a shotgun, machine gun, homing missiles, laser rifle, and grenade launcher.
- Resources: Special weapons share one gun-energy meter. Enemy drops can restore health, gun energy, or provide weapon pickups.
- Progression: Minibosses award weapons, and each stage ends with a major encounter. The final factory includes forced scrolling and crushing hazards.
