Overview and Gameplay
In a futuristic setting where central systems have been compromised, Nova is sent into six sectors to restore control by recovering critical data tapes. Armed with a powerful boomerang weapon, the journey blends exploration and combat as players clear areas, locate sector agents, and unlock guarded data rooms before advancing to the final control center.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move through multi-directional stages and navigate ladders and platforms
- Jump to avoid hazards and reach elevated routes
- Throw a boomerang weapon to attack enemies at range
- Collect upgrades that enhance weapon power and survivability
- Use special items such as grenades and energy recovery tools
- Choose sector order freely and progress through increasing challenges
- Face a Normal or Expert challenge setting with different time pressure and knockback effects
Version Notes
The Western release differs from its earlier Japanese counterpart with a redesigned protagonist, faster movement, improved weapon behavior, and the addition of a Power Suit that increases durability and offensive reach.
