Overview and Gameplay
Michael Knight and KITT race across North America to stop a terrorist organization armed with a stolen weapon. Knight Rider combines first-person driving with vehicular shooting, strict time limits, and resource management. Its 15 stages follow a city-to-city route, with major targets confronted across three-stage mission groups.
Before each drive, one system can be improved, including fuel, shields, engine performance, missiles, or lasers. On the road, the player avoids civilian traffic, destroys hostile vehicles, collects recovery items, and preserves time, fuel, and shield strength. Passwords resume progress from completed mission groups.
