Overview and Gameplay
Paperboy 2 places you on a bicycle navigating suburban streets while delivering newspapers to subscribed houses and avoiding a variety of hazards. Each day challenges you to keep subscribers by making accurate deliveries while dealing with moving obstacles and environmental dangers. Performance across the week determines how stable your route becomes and how many subscribers remain active.
Controls And Mechanics
- Riding and lane positioning are key to avoiding obstacles and lining up deliveries
- Newspapers can be thrown to either side to reach houses and interact with targets
- Missed deliveries or broken windows can reduce subscriber counts
- Each day ends with a training course that rewards performance without penalizing crashes
- Two player mode alternates turns between players
