Overview and Gameplay
A high-speed combat motorcycle tears through enemy territory, relying on mounted sidecar weaponry and limited air support to survive waves of ground and aerial threats. The mission pushes through multiple themed zones toward a fortified nuclear facility controlled by a terrorist organization. Progress depends on maintaining firepower by collecting sidecars that expand attack coverage and changing how the bike handles combat pressure.
Stages mix dense enemy formations with destructible obstacles and occasional traversal hazards such as jumps and narrow passages. The core loop revolves around staying equipped, clearing screen pressure, and conserving limited bombing resources while advancing through each zone.
Controls And Mechanics
- Motorcycle movement through scrolling stages with constant forward progression
- Forward firing main weapon combined with attachable sidecars for enhanced coverage
- Limited-use bombing ability for clearing heavy enemy waves
- Sidecars can be replaced or lost, changing attack patterns dynamically
- Two player simultaneous play where both riders fight independently on the same screen
Version Notes
This NES version adapts the arcade release into a home console format, retaining the sidecar-based combat system while simplifying presentation and stage flow. The narrative is localized for the U.S. release with a fictional terrorist organization driving the conflict.
