Overview and Gameplay
A time-spanning fighting tournament pulls together warriors who were taken from moments of untimely death, each fighting for a chance to reclaim their fate. Battles take place in 2D arena combat where spacing, timing, and character-specific special attacks define the outcome.
Each fighter comes from a different era, giving the roster distinct styles and motivations. Matches are structured as traditional rounds, with victory leading into cinematic finishing sequences known as Overkills, which dramatically conclude fights with character-specific outcomes.
