Overview and Gameplay

Aero is pulled into a strange world after Edgar Ektor survives the first game and prepares his backup scheme, Plan B. This sequel keeps the circus-flavored platforming but shifts away from the first game’s mission-heavy levels toward clearer stage exits and smoother movement.

The adventure spans seven worlds with enemies, traps, checkpoints, hidden Chance Rooms, bonus areas, passwords, and boss encounters. Aero collects stars, restores energy, searches for AERO letters, and uses acrobatic moves to reach exits and stop Ektor.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Movement: Aero runs, ducks, climbs, pushes objects, slides through low spaces, and looks around the screen.
  • Attacks: stars work as projectiles, while jump drills and drop drills defeat enemies and break certain blocks.
  • Progression: each world awards a password for later play.
  • Items: icons refill stars, restore energy, add points, open bonus chances, or lead to extra-life games.
  • Players: this SNES release is for one player only.
