Overview and Gameplay
Fievel Mousekewitz heads west after Cat R. Waul tricks the mice into a dangerous journey. This SNES platformer follows the film license through short timed stages where Fievel jumps, climbs, swims, rides moving objects, and shoots enemies with his pop gun.
The route includes New York City, the sewer, a train ride, the desert, and Green River. Stages use hearts, lives, checkpoints, coins, weapon upgrades, and a three-minute limit, with bosses such as One-Eye, Chula, and Cat R. Waul.
Controls And Mechanics
- Fievel moves, ducks, climbs, jumps, swims upward in water, and fires pop-gun shots.
- Coins reward extra lives, while hearts restore health or increase maximum health.
- Power-ups include rapid fire, stronger shots, water-gun use for burning platforms, and temporary invincibility.
- The SNES version is single-player only.
Version Notes
- This PAL SNES version was released in Europe and uses English text.
- The SNES game also had a North American release, but no Japanese SNES release.
