Overview and Gameplay
The Professor kidnaps Kitty and demands Felix’s Magic Bag of Tricks. Felix crosses nine areas of land, air, surface-water, underwater, and spaceship stages to rescue her. Most rounds end at an exit, while eight bosses guard key points in the campaign.
Hidden Magic Bags lead to bonus rooms and occasional shortcuts. Felix heads contribute toward power upgrades, and every tenth head makes a heart appear.
Controls And Mechanics
Felix begins with a punching glove and changes into stronger forms as he collects hearts. His forms include a caped magician, motorbike, tank, balloon, airplane, rowboat, dolphin, turtle, submarine, and spaceship. Each form changes his movement or attack.
Powered forms use a Magic Meter that drains over time. Milk bottles refill it, while enemy damage or an empty meter lowers Felix by one power level. Falling, running out of time, or taking damage in the basic form costs a life. Score awards an extra life every 50,000 points, and three continues are available.
