Overview and Gameplay
Pugsley explores the Addams mansion to rescue Gomez, Wednesday, Granny, and Uncle Fester. Each rescued relative joins Lurch in the Music Room, where their completed tune opens the route to the underground chambers and Morticia.
The mansion serves as a hub connecting several areas that can be approached in a largely non-linear order. Pugsley crosses hazardous platforms, searches for concealed passages, activates switches, collects sweets, and defeats enemies or bosses by jumping on them. Passwords record major progress, while continues return him to the Hall of Stairs with rescued relatives and heart upgrades intact.

Version Notes
This 1993 US NES edition is a reworked 8-bit adaptation rather than a direct conversion of the SNES game. It uses a family-rescue premise, password support, shorter areas, and no conventional weapon system.
