Overview and Gameplay
Snotty Ragsdale becomes Boogerman after a pollution machine accident pulls him toward Dimension X-Crement. This European SNES release is a side-scrolling gross-out platformer adapted from the earlier Genesis / Mega Drive game.
Boogerman moves through filthy themed worlds such as Flatulent Swamps, The Pits, Mucous Mountains, Nasal Caverns, and Pus Palace. The player searches stages, defeats enemies, collects items, enters bonus areas, and faces bosses including Hickboy, Flyboy, Deodor Ant, and Booger Meister.
Controls And Mechanics
- Boogerman can move, jump, dig through garbage, fire Pick N’ Flick shots, belch, fart, and use powered-up versions of those attacks.
- The Snot Meter powers snot-based attacks, while the Gas Meter powers belch and fart attacks.
- Milk upgrades the main projectile, Spicy Peppers enable flaming attacks, Beans refill gas, and Mucous Balls support the snot meter.
- Red capes increase health, while plungers and bonus pickups reward exploration.
- The game is single-player only and uses password saving.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES version. The game was not released for Super Famicom in Japan.
