Overview and Gameplay
A strange meteor turns circus clay into a lineup of bizarre fighters, from Bad Mr. Frosty to Blue Suede Goo. ClayFighter: Tournament Edition is a revised SNES fighting game built around one-on-one matches, comic characters, and clay-animation visuals.
Players choose a fighter, battle through rounds, and win matches by taking two out of three rounds. The game also adds tournament structures for bracket-style play, including single elimination, double elimination, and sudden death.
Controls And Mechanics
- The directional pad moves, jumps, crouches, and blocks when held away from the opponent.
- Six attack buttons cover quick, medium, and brutal punches and kicks.
- Close-range throws and holds depend on fighter position and the chosen attack.
- Two players can fight in versus mode, while larger tournaments use alternating bracket play.
- Options include game speed, difficulty, timer settings, and custom button configuration.

This Tournament Edition is an enhanced SNES revision of the original ClayFighter, with faster play, glitch fixes, brighter visuals, changed stages, more voice work, added combos, and tournament modes.
