Overview and Gameplay
A purple clay meteor crashes into an abandoned amusement park and turns it into Clayland, where strange clay fighters battle to become King of the Circus. ClayFighter is a one-on-one SNES fighting game built around claymation-style characters, parody humor, and exaggerated special moves.
The roster includes Bad Mr. Frosty, Taffy, Tiny, Blob, Blue Suede Goo, Ickybod Clay, Helga, and Bonker. Matches follow a two-out-of-three-round format, with energy bars, time limits, throws, holds, close attacks, and character-specific specials.
Controls And Mechanics
- The directional pad moves, jumps, crouches, blocks, and performs special-move directions.
- Six attack buttons cover quick, medium, and brutal punches and kicks.
- Close-range fighting includes grabs, throws, and holds.
- Special moves use directional inputs combined with punch or kick buttons.
- Super K.O. attacks can trigger after landing a string of hits without being hit back.
- Two players can fight in competitive versus mode, not co-op.
