Overview and Gameplay
Future resource wars have split Earth into rival powers, and pilot Jake enters combat inside a heavily armed Assault Suit. Cybernator is a side-scrolling mecha action game with weighty movement, battlefield shooting, shield use, hovering, and boss-heavy missions.
The game mixes platform-style movement with run-and-gun combat. Some stages scroll like shooter missions, while others focus on ground combat against enemy suits, vehicles, defenses, and large mechanical bosses. Power chips upgrade weapons, and careful shield use is important because the suit is powerful but not invincible.
Controls And Mechanics
- The Assault Suit moves left and right, aims in multiple directions, jumps, and uses its power pack to hover.
- The main weapon button fires the selected weapon or uses the punch attack.
- Weapons include Vulcan fire, lasers, missiles, and close-range punching.
- The shield blocks enemy fire when raised.
- The hold-position function lets the player aim and shoot without walking forward or backward.
- The game is single-player only, with no versus or co-op mode.
Version Notes
