Overview and Gameplay
The Dark Legion threatens human outposts, and Doomtroopers Mitch Hunter and Max Steiner are sent across hostile planets to stop Algeroth’s forces. Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles is a side-scrolling SNES run-and-gun action game based on the Mutant Chronicles setting.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players fight through eight stages with guns, close attacks, jumps, ledge climbing, and special weapons.
- The options include Wimp, Trooper, and Brutal difficulty, lives settings, button configuration, and Autoclimb.
- Passwords continue from completed levels.
- Two-player mode is cooperative, with Mitch and Max fighting the Dark Legion together.
