Overview and Gameplay
Eek! The Cat turns the cartoon’s unlucky purple cat into a side-view escort platformer. Instead of simply racing to the exit, Eek must guide friends through dangerous themed stages while keeping their health meter from running out.
Controls And Mechanics
- Eek walks, runs, jumps, pushes, and redirects the character he is protecting.
- He can kick or turn a friend around, swap places with what he is pushing, and whack enemies with a fish.
- The protected character is the main concern: if that friend takes too much damage, the attempt fails.
- The SNES version is a solo game with no normal two-player or co-op mode.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES version. It is an English-language release, with separate preservation data from the North American version.
