Overview and Gameplay
A future food crisis turns into a strange beat ’em up where Bonjour, Mademoiselle, and Trés Bien fight to recover stolen protein supplies. Gourmet Sentai Bara Yarou sends one or two players through short side-scrolling stages, defeating enemies, collecting ingredients, and battling bosses with an intentionally bizarre food-warrior theme.
Controls And Mechanics
- Combat uses movement, attacks, jumps, poses, shoulder commands, throws, running, and character-specific fighting behavior.
- Defeated enemies drop ingredients used after stages in the cooking system.
- Cooked dishes restore health, making ingredient choice important because normal healing is limited.
- Two players can fight together in simultaneous co-op.
