Overview and Gameplay
A prehistoric rescue mission sends two cavemen across dangerous jungles, caves, and dinosaur-filled landscapes in search of kidnapped villagers. Joe & Mac delivers arcade-style platform action where melee combat and environmental timing define survival through each stage.
Players progress through linear levels filled with hostile creatures and rival tribes, using primitive weapons and collected items to clear obstacles and defeat bosses. Each stage builds toward larger encounters that require pattern recognition and careful positioning to avoid damage while maintaining forward momentum.
The experience is structured around continuous movement through themed prehistoric environments, blending platforming precision with direct close-range combat.
