Overview and Gameplay
A ranked climb toward heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe drives Riddick Bowe Boxing. Career Mode lets the player create a boxer, build skills, and fight through ranked opponents toward a title bout.
Players can also set up single matches or local two-player bouts. Fights use 12-round boxing rules, energy and damage meters, scoring for landed punches, and knockdowns that can swing a round.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions move the boxer, duck, stand up, and circle the opponent.
- X and Y throw right and left jabs, while A and B throw right and left hooks.
- L and R are used together for a two-arm block.
- Uppercuts, body punches, taunts, and knockdown recovery depend on button and direction combinations.
- Two-player mode is head-to-head versus boxing, not co-op.
