Overview and Gameplay
Saturday Night Slam Masters brings Capcom’s arcade wrestling brawls to the PAL SNES, with a ring, life bars, grapples, rope attacks, turnbuckles, pins, and limited out-of-ring fighting. The cast includes ten wrestlers, including Mike Haggar from Final Fight, each built around strikes, throws, and special moves.
Controls And Mechanics
- Matches focus on weakening opponents, then pinning them for the win.
- Pressing forward twice makes the wrestler run, opening up running attacks.
- Moving toward an opponent and attacking starts a grab, leading to throws, slams, and special techniques.
- The SNES version supports simultaneous multiplayer, including Battle Royal play with a multiplayer adapter.
