Eight world warriors fight through an international tournament in Capcom’s SNES conversion of the arcade-defining Street Fighter II. Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, E. Honda, Dhalsim, and Zangief battle through best-two-out-of-three rounds before facing the four Grand Masters.
Controls And Mechanics
- Fighting system: each character uses light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks, plus throws, blocking, crouching, jumping, and command-based special moves.
- Match rules: rounds are decided by the energy meters or the timer, with score and high score tracked during play.
- Options: difficulty, time limit, sound, and button assignments can be adjusted.
- Multiplayer: two players fight simultaneously in versus matches; a second player can also interrupt the tournament to challenge.
