Overview and Gameplay
April and Splinter are kidnapped as the Turtles enter a fighting tournament. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters is the USA SNES version of Konami’s 2D versus fighter, with the four Turtles, Cyber Shredder, Aska, War, Wingnut, Chrome Dome, Armaggon, Rat King, and Karai.
Controls And Mechanics
- Fight in best-of-three rounds using normal punches, fierce punches, normal kicks, and fierce kicks.
- Hold away to guard, crouch or jump with directions, and use each character’s special moves.
- An ultimate-attack gauge adds a stronger comeback option during battle.
- Modes include Tournament, Story Battle, VS Battle, and Watch.
- Two-player play is competitive head-to-head, not co-op.
