Overview and Gameplay
Krang steals the Statue of Liberty, sending the Turtles through history to fight Shredder’s forces. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is the European PAL SNES version of Konami’s arcade beat ’em up, with four playable Turtles, time-travel stages, pizza recovery, screen-throw attacks, and boss fights.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move through side-scrolling stages, attack with Y, jump with B, and use A for a special attack.
- Special attacks are powerful but spend health when they connect.
- Options include adjustable lives, difficulty, dash settings, Time Trial, and Versus mode.
- Two players can fight together simultaneously in co-op.
Version Notes
This page covers the European PAL release using the Hero Turtles title. The North American title is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time, and the SNES version adds home modes and stage changes from the arcade game.
