Overview and Gameplay
Four bounty hunters ride into a cartoon Old West, chasing wanted outlaws through Konami’s side-scrolling run-and-gun action. Steve, Billy, Bob, and Cormano each bring a different weapon feel, while stages mix town shootouts, moving set pieces, bonus rounds, and end-of-level bosses with bounty rewards.
Controls And Mechanics
- Y fires, B jumps, and A performs a slide when used with a down-diagonal direction.
- directions move the character and aim shots, including diagonal fire.
- Power-ups add rapid fire or dual weapons, and thrown dynamite can be avoided or tossed back.
- Two players can play simultaneously as a cooperative posse, with Player 2 able to join during play.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. It is a home version of Konami’s 1991 arcade game, keeping the four selectable bounty hunters and eight-stage structure while reducing the arcade’s four-player setup to two-player co-op and using the SNES content changes.
