Overview and Gameplay
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Double Pack contains two complete Game Boy Advance adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. The first game gives Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo separate four-Act routes with side-scrolling combat, platforming, bosses, and character-specific vehicle stages.
Battle Nexus adds Story, Battle, and Race modes. Story stages include stealth sections, weapon recovery, platforming, combat, hoverboard runs, and shooting sequences. Battle Mode presents timed combat challenges, while Race Mode uses rail-based hoverboard courses.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves, climbs, hides, and activates contextual objects. A jumps, B attacks or charges stronger strikes, and R performs a special move. Battle Nexus also uses L to scout nearby areas. Stamina serves as health in the first game, where special attacks consume part of the gauge and recovery items restore it. Crystals provide optional collection goals.
Battle Nexus supports linked multiplayer for cooperative and head-to-head play, with each participant using a Game Boy Advance, Game Link Cable, and separate cartridge.
Version Notes
This official compilation places both Konami GBA games on one cartridge. The North American release includes English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian language options.
