Overview and Gameplay
This Game Boy Advance double pack contains Sonic Pinball Party and Sonic Battle. In Sonic Pinball Party, Sonic enters the Egg Cup Tournament and clears score, time, stage, and boss objectives across Sonic, NiGHTS, and Samba de Amigo tables. Arcade Mode supports extended score play, while Casinopolis and the Tiny Chao Garden use Rings earned during pinball.
Sonic Battle follows Sonic and the robot Emerl through eight character episodes. Arena victories unlock copied abilities and Skill Points for Emerl’s movement, attacks, recovery, special moves, and passive skills. Battle, Challenge, Training, and Mini Game modes provide configurable fights and side activities.
Controls And Mechanics
Pinball play uses separate flippers, directional nudges, multipliers, jackpots, extra balls, ball savers, and multiball. A run ends after every available ball drains. Party Mode supports two to four linked players in competitive Hot Potato and Hockey matches or cooperative Ladder Climb.
Sonic Battle uses free movement, jumps, attack strings, launchers, pursuit attacks, guarding, health recovery, and equipped special moves. The Ichikoro gauge can power an immediate knockout. Linked battles support free-for-all and team rules for up to four players.
Version Notes
This European cartridge presents both games through one selection menu and includes English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
