Overview and Gameplay
The Bohrok swarm threatens Mata Nui, sending a Matoran through six elemental regions to help local Turaga and recover important objects. Each side-scrolling stage contains enemies, hazards, switches, hidden routes, and a region-specific objective. Collecting every mask piece in a region unlocks another selectable Matoran, while completing stages advances the campaign toward the Bahrag.
Controls And Mechanics
Matoran can jump higher, double jump, and attack with throwing discs. Turaga use elemental powers to activate switches, remove obstacles, and open routes. L or R swaps the active character with the companion following behind.
Health pickups restore damage, extra-life items increase the remaining lives, and checkpoints set the restart position within the current region. Disc upgrades improve attack strength and range; collecting four allows a charged disc attack by holding B. Elemental upgrades strengthen Turaga powers. Permanent progress is saved after completing a region.
