Overview and Gameplay
Capcom Classics Mini Mix presents three complete NES games from a single cartridge menu: Bionic Commando, Strider, and Mighty Final Fight.
Bionic Commando sends an operative across combat areas to rescue Super Joe and stop the Albatros project. His mechanical arm replaces jumping and lets him climb or swing through each zone. Strider follows Hiryu through interconnected missions where keys, message disks, analyzed intelligence, and learned abilities open new routes. Mighty Final Fight features Cody, Guy, and Haggar fighting through five stages to rescue Jessica, with experience levels that improve strength, vitality, and techniques.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad handles movement, aiming, crouching, menu selection, and four-directional fighting. A controls jumping or the bionic arm depending on the selected game, while B attacks, fires weapons, or uses the Cypher sword. Start pauses or activates an equipped item, and Select opens status screens or pauses in supported games.
Bionic Commando increases maximum health by collecting bullets. Strider tracks levels, abilities, and password-based progress. Mighty Final Fight awards experience for defeated enemies and uses health for character-specific special attacks.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance compilation contains the NES editions of all three games. Their original stages, progression systems, passwords, graphics, and sound were adapted to the handheld screen.
