Overview and Gameplay
Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE investigate cyber incidents in Cyber City after Lan’s family moves away from ACDC Town. Lan explores the real world, while MegaMan enters connected networks to solve scenario problems, collect data, and battle viruses and enemy NetNavis. Progress comes from story events, Link Navi trials, Battle Chip collection, HP upgrades, and Navi Customizer programs. Ranked requests and Virus Battler challenges add optional objectives. Two-player communication supports competitive Net Battles, record comparison, and trading.
Controls And Mechanics
Battles use a 6-by-3 panel grid. The Custom screen draws chips from a 30-chip folder; selected chips become real-time attacks and support effects until the Custom Gauge refills. MegaMan moves between panels, fires or charges the Mega Buster, and activates chips in order. Delete Time and Busting Level determine rewards.
- Cross Change: Spout, Tomahawk, Tengu, Ground, and Dust Cross grant distinct abilities and charge attacks.
- Falzar Beast Out: Temporarily adds rapid fire, automatic chip targeting, movement over broken panels, and Falzar Claw attacks.
- Resources: Zenny buys supplies, Mystery Data holds rewards, Sub Chips provide field effects, and recovery items restore HP.
Version Notes
Cybeast Falzar is the companion release to Cybeast Gregar, with Falzar-specific transformations, Link Navis, Crosses, bosses, and chips. The North American version omits Japanese-only Boktai crossover and Beast Link Gate content.
